Chick Fill A to change it's stance on homosexuality? Chicago alderman claims it's true.

Various media outlets from the Los Angeles Times to the Huffington Post are repeating claims being made by a Chicago alderman that Chick Fill A will soon end it's donations to anti-homosexuality groups like the Family Research Council, but will release an internal memo saying that all employees "will treat every person equally, regardless of sexual orientation.".

I hope that this is not a hoax, Chick Fill A has not responded yet to the alderman's claims. Not going to declare victory right now, but this would be great news, and a great victory. it would show that the "Chick Fill A Appreciation Day" was only a temporary victory, and that time is on the side of marriage equality.

I will wait for any further news, and give you an update when I find out for sure if it is true or not.

  1. They may change their stance, but we know where they stand.

  2. True, I think if this does happen, it's more for business reasons than a change of heart.
