Man Jumps Into Enclosure at a Zoo Because He Wanted to be "One with a Tiger"

I saw this on Google News from the San Francisco Chronicle. A man jumped from a moving train passing through an elevated track, into a tiger enclosure because he wanted to be "one with a tiger". From postings to his facebook page in the days leading up to his jump, he appears to be a follower of New Age philosophy, he was posting about "Mother Earth", and said to "Be love and fearless".

The zoo is wanting to file charges for trespassing, because of the man's statements about why he jumped, he is denying that it was a suicide attempt, as was thought to be the case to be at the time of the incident. He is still in a local hospital due to a broken arm and leg caused by the jump, and puncture wounds from the tiger biting him.

You can't fix stupid....

  1. If they hadn't gotten him out of there sooner he would have been one with the tiger - or at least parts of him maybe.
